Chat and watsapp but can't really hug,
Send cake and flowers, but can't cook a dinner,
Play Facebook games, not a deck of cards
Meet up over Skype, not a juice bar .
Set up birthday reminders, not the hard old bumps 
Send meeting invites, not a shout next doors,
Shopping over amazon, not a full day at the stores,
Share mp3 links, not a round of antakshiri .
Technology has certainly brought minds closer,
But have hearts been distanced?
